Simpson’s former wife, Nicole Brown and her friend, Ron Goldman were found dead outside her condominium. Simpson was soon charged with the murders. After failing to turn himself in, he led police on a low speed pursuit which was one of the most publicized in American history.
The following trial was often referred to as, “The Trial of the Century”. On October 3, 1995 OJ Simpson was found not guilty of the two murders. The verdict was seen on live tv by more than half of the US population.
